In my studio I restore ceramics, glass objects and also smaller stone objects. Examples of the type of objects I work with are Chinese porcelain, archeological ceramics and glass and of course Delftware and tiles. However, I also restore modern art made of ceramics and/or glass, enamels, and objects made from plaster of Paris. If you are unsure whether or your object can be restored, please do not hesitate to contact me.
The best restoration method for a specific object differs with each object and is dependent on the type of damage, the condition of the object and your own personal wishes. Before starting a restoration I will always discuss the different possibilities.
For any questions regarding the restoration of your object, please feel free to contact me or visit my studio in Amsterdam Noord (by appointment). Based on a photograph I will mostly be able to give a rough estimation of the restoration and the costs. For a more specified cost estimation, however, I will have to be able to examine the object directly.
